Fun fact about urostomies- To create your stoma they take 15-20cm of your small bowel to create it and connect your ureters to the piece of bowel then pull it outside your abdomen which is what we call “stoma” and with that comes a lot of bowel produced mucous in your urine output. This mucous can make your urine smell nasty. So it’s super important to stay hydrated. #urostomy #nobladder #disability #fyp #bladderproblems
