On April 13, 1990 "The Wrestling Summit", the joint venture between the US-based World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and the Japanese All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotions, took place in front of 53,742 fans at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. The 12-match show featured inter-promotional matches with the main event being WWF representative Hulk Hogan defeating AJPW wrestler Stan Hansen.
