This little dude goes by Nuke. He is a Bearded Dragon (Pogona vitticeps) from Australia. Unfortunately here in the Western Cape of South Africa these lizards are illegal as pets. Reason being they are worried they going to be invasive here if they escape. Nukes owners came from another province that has no restrictions on these animals but finding out their legalities they decided to donate him to us. As we are a registered institution we are allowed to look after Nuke and he can become a repiti
