Petey was surrendered by a man who said Petey had bitten him and needed to go right away because there were kids in the house. It’s hard to imagine when you meet him — he’s gentle, extremely sensitive, and endlessly loving. I’ll never know exactly what happened that day. I imagine there was fear and confusion on both sides. I’m sure Petey was scared. Maybe the man was too; but the truth is, dogs can’t tell their side of the story. And I guarantee Petey has his own story to tell about what happen
