New York in the 60's. New York in the 1960's was a city full of life and diversity, but also of architectural losses. Many jewels like the Pennsylvania Station or the Singer Building were demolished to make way for a 'new' New York. But ignoring how terrible was the replacement of these imposing buildings by simple glass boxes, the 60's were a time of change, radical thinking, not accepting the status quo.
