Bongo Bongo Bongo! The Houston Zoo’s male eastern bongo Bobby is a daddy, times three! Over a span of three and a half weeks, the three female bongos each gave birth to healthy calves. Cuteness abounds! This morning, among the audible adoration of zoo guests, the Houston Zoo’s baby elephant, Tilly, took her first steps outside, with mom, Tess, following closely behind. The two-day-old baby stole the hearts of onlookers as she joined the herd and was greeted by her family of elephants.
