In this video, I show how real bakery donuts are transformed into permanent cast iron using a three-part sand mold and molten iron. The process starts by packing sand around the donuts to capture every soft, baked detail. After removing the edible donuts, a channel is carved directly into the sand mold so the molten iron can flow into the cavity.
