Strong Island animal rescue got a call for what the homeowner thought was an iguana.. But when we got there it was definitely NOT an iguana! We were able to safely get the scared Tegu contained and to a safe environment. The tegu is known to eat small birds and rodents along with insects fruits and vegetables. His caretaker Lisa has tamed him down and we are sure that he was only being aggressive since he was in survival mode and scared.Teamwork saves them to keep us on call https://www.strongis
