This is the biggest Agave bloom I have ever seen!!!! It’s taller than a lot of the trees around it! Agave plants, often called “century plants,” can take anywhere from 8 to 40 years, or even longer to flower. This was a long time coming🥹 The crazy part, it will die after it flowers. This is a death bloom, its final goodbye to the world. But don’t worry, it leaves behind many babies to continue growing and one day be as big as she is now.
