1949年英國 「世界第一部飛行汽車問世」 Colorized色彩 這台形狀詭異的車輛是人類歷史上首款飛行汽車，名為Aerocar。自1946年開始研發，歷時三年於1949年出產，同時這輛車也是世界上第一輛可以在道路上合法行駛的飛行汽車。 Aerocar搭配5.2升的四缸引擎，提供150馬力的動力，陸地時速最高為每小時60英裡（約100公裡）。可在10分鐘內變做「飛行模式」，在12000英尺（3660米）的高空中以每小時110英裡（177公裡）的速度飛翔 該車試驗成功後，吸引了一些多超前技術感興趣的投資者。但最後因為種種原因它還是夭折了，總產量隻有6輛，而成功售出的有3輛，售價為2.5萬美元。 雖然這次實驗以失敗告終，但設計者的創意給了後面無數來者激勵和啟發，他的努力並沒有白費。這輛古董飛行汽車以80萬英鎊的高價被拍下，被拍下時這輛將近70歲高齡的車依然可以正常使用。 | 歷史時空
